You have to pull the relay out of the socket then it will all become apparent what you have to do with the bent leg extension.

Thanks, explored it earlier but the damn thing is tough to move. Didn't want to pull it out if it wasn't supposed to. Thanks again.

Yeah best thing to do is to pull the positive on the battery and use a plastic pry tool and pry between the socket and relay, Dont pull on the top.

Also, my understanding of voltage is pretty low, running fogs and AC inverter at the same time sharing the same 12v, any power concerns or plenty to go around?

you arent sharing the power to power the lights / inverter themselves. You are simply sharing the VERY low amp draw to power the relays to switch on those devices.

Any tips for getting the bent male connector to fit with the AC inverter relay?

You have to shave down the width of the male blade connector so that it fits in front of the relay female prong so it allows enough space for both to fit.

Tip for anyone who's Bed outlet stopped working at the time of this mod:

Problem: Its caused by the male pin on the AC/DC relay being pushed back into the relay itself by trying to shove the "brown wire" male blade connector in the same slot as the relay pin. That causes one of the wires to snap as shown by the red circle.

    The solution:

Shave down the width of the "brown wire" male blade connector that goes in the AC/DC slot, but put it in front of the female slot so that it still touches the connector.

Purchase a new relay and it works again with the fog lights anytime!

Best bet is to just buy Baja designs kit, and new bezels with the fog light hole.

I did this mod but noticed that when I push the fog light button to turn the lights on the button's color doesn't change to indicate that they're on, is this normal? Does the button change color in the normal configuration to indicate that it's on?

100% normal. Only led in the foglight switch itself is the dash illumination light.

So there is no light or indication that you have the fog light on or off?

Nope, the only way to tell is to see the button pushed in farther. However, if you get a fog light switch from a FJ cruiser, it has an indicator that closely resembles the 110 inverter switch indicator. The switch is about $44 and you also need the 6 terminal connector and a couple pigtails. Then you have to run a wire to the fog light relay under the hood.

I'm planing on just running a new harness from the fogs to the new switch. This will allow the switch I ordered to light the way it should with the indicator light and give me anytime fogs. I just ordered a couple of pigtails to connect to the H11's and a wiring harness off Amazon. I'll be adding a secondary fuse panel later.
