When do you ever see a LC that isn't over priced?

 

Speaking of cab mounts, has anyone here replaced their cab mount bushings? I have a couple of issues that could be fixed with new mounts but it looks like a PITA.

How doable is replacing them for a DIYer working alone? Doesn’t look like any special tools are needed, but as always an extra set of hands is helpful.

It is a pain in the ass, but well worth it. I pulled out the interior shit myself, but was very glad to have help from @tyfoon11 when it came time to tighten everything back up. Disconnect your front wheel sensors or you'll break a wire like I did. Loosen the upper bolt on the steering shaft. Get yourself some of

I did mine DIY in the driveway with no write up to go off of. It's a PITA, but well worth it and can be done in an afternoon (4 hours - ish?) I could do another one much faster, having done it before. Maybe half that time.

It seems like it 's worth the effort. I'm also hoping it will help with two issues I currently have. First, my bed and cab are not sitting even with each other. Second, I get a lot of cab movement going side-to-side when I don't take the front wheels over something at the same time.

I was thinking of getting the 3rd gen OR springs to help with the wobble but another Tacoma owner reminded me of the mounts. Everything got better after I replaced my Monroes with 3rd gen OR shocks all around, but there's still a lot of movement.
