Just aggravation at the triplex I bought. Was hoping that when I ripped the carpet out, I could refinish the hardwood and be done. Well cat piss soaked thru the wood and there was a bunch if spots that needed attention before refinish. Chunks missing and so on and so forth. Decided to rip up the old hardwood and replace with plywood.

I have X amount of money for this house reno and even less time than that where I need to be out of my current apartment. Dec 31st is my deadline.

I'm going to rip and replace. I have a plan for when I kick out floor 1 tenant, which might be soon since I still don't have their rent. If I do the reno the right way now, I won't have to worry in the future. Buy once cry once, isn't that how the saying goes?

    Congratulations on your house!

As much as it hurt your wallet right now, good idea to do it right, instead of putting a Band-Aid on it.
Plywood is an excellent choice sir (lol) especially if its tongue and groove one designed for floors, if not that's fine too. OSB is not a great idea to put under hardwood flooring, but I guess you already know that.
One thing I would like to suggest, especially if you don't live on the first floor to put some kind of a sound insulation between Plywood And Hardwood. Tenants below will thank you later.

    * BTW statements above are my opinion not a scientific fact, lol:anonymous:

Welp I'm 100% out for the 16th. Have too much stuff I need to fix on the truck and it's also a good friend's birthday so I'm cutting my losses and staying local. That plus my left foot acting up making it fucking near-impossible to walk all means I'm better off taking a pass on this trip.

    Hopefully next time...

Nope it’s NOT required. I read the RC rules.

Which is why I clearly stated it’s HIGHLY recommended, IMO

Camping at RC is perfectly fine. You have many choices.

On open areas SURROUNDING the parking lots or a little more towards the woods.

The camp sites at RC are more conducive to camping in groups compared to AAOA.

    IMO of course.

Either way it's gonna be cold as balls (low of 15°) so I'll probably tough it out and drive home

As camp chef, I need to start the fire early.

And sound magnifies when you’re sleeping inside a big top circus tent.

And @M192 was up as well. Telling the bad jokes. Hence the cackling.
