No- I'm f-ing painting today. The temps actually dropped last night and today is not above 90deg, so back on the ladder I go..

I can't stand painting. God created painting only as a means for men to get stone cold drunk. And I'm working on it, trust me.

Damn I missed my chance to mock someone from Montana asking a Minnesotan if he has the balls to venture into the cold.

Is there a class or something I can take to be as cool and rugged as you are?

You are a true mountain man! I'm jealous.

Does anyone happen to know what the difference of distance is between the mounting bars from Tepui and CVT?

Because they’re awesome (answer to op’s question)

I need to edit after reading some of the short-sighted and frankly dipshitted comments on this thread

To the super tough guys who eat fucking rocks with canola poured on it for camp breakfast, you sound like complete assholes to me. And I should know, because I’m a complete asshole.

To this whole “just get a fucking tarp and sleep next to the fire, quit being a pussy” shit, I have to ask, have you ever camped with a woman?

The wise man knows when it behooves him to evolve.

I did the Alcan and most of western Canada from Saskatchewan to Dawson City, and I can tell you, my female companion didn’t like sleeping in a ground tent when it was pissing rain sideways and our air mattress was literally a floatation device or there were legitimate concerns of bears and cougars and wolves and moose and bighorn sheep, etc etc.

Put your tiny dicks back in your pants and lay off those of us who see rocking a rtt as the fucking awesome gifts of ingenuity that they are.

So the rail mounting holes on the CVT are 32" apparent, the 4 holes create a square.

Anyone happen to know the Tepui info?

    Thanks

Trust me on this... they are worth the price that they charge. I built a high quality RTT from scratch and it cost me the same or more than a cvt just in materials.

That Mammoth bag is the exact one I’ve got. Slept in it down into the low 20s and was HOT. Great choice!
