    I think the Firestik I bought is too long :( its 4ft I'm going to have to mount it really low to make it work. Or find that fold down mount.

    thats how mine it. i have it mounted low on the bedside near the tailgate. and i have the spring mount so that when i go into my garage, the antenna just bends back. and once i'm in it flicks back straight.
