    I need some help.

Bought a m and p 10 sport. Want to install a magpul moe rifle fixed rifle stock.
Like normal, you would swap out the buffer for a rifle length, new spring and buffer, well, it seems Smith sells some kind of a spacer that goes in the tube to make a rifle length buffer tube work with the factory spring and buffer.

What I want to know, is if anyone knows what will work without using a spacer. Seems people have had nothing but issues if they used a rifle length spring and buffer on the m and P.

    Cheers.

I got mine for 29.99 each shipped from brownells.
Had to place 4 separate orders using a $5 off $25 order with free shipping coupon.

Actually I guess I bought 5, only meant to buy 4 but lost track of how many times I had ordered.
Gotta buy the router before Christmas so that Santa brings everything and then figured we’d start them in January or so.

Well damn, hopped on Amazon now after thinking about this and got the dwp611 for $25 off and free shipping. So $109 delivered. Looks like Santa is bringing the boys and I a full kit this year.

Someone posted a picture on FaceBook of a police academy recruiting poster for our local community college and the police had AR15s. Of course that's offensive to them. I don't get it. Wait, they want to disarm the police too, never mind. Carry on.

Put my ALG ACT trigger in my budget ar build that i built a couple of years back, also fixed my sling so it was finally on correctly. I never shoot the thing, hopefully ill start to fix that soon.

The ALG is pretty decent, well dry fire it is. Has some creep, a lighter 4.5lb pull, Quick audible reset. Minimal over travel. It was $50... not that bad of a trigger, solid upgrade i think.

Nice...well apparently I had a clean miss...I got a shot on an elk cow, I thought I was good and settled in on the shoulder, pulled the trigger and typical smoke...no hair/blood/tissue nothing...it was a good angle down hill but around 50yds or so...I may have pulled high at the last second but unknown what happened, did a thorough search and not a trace was found...

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
i shot at one here in the chest walking towards me about 50 yds away. after the shot, the deer tore off towards my stand and through the woods. Walked the area from the shot to the woods and another 5 yds in. not a single drop or hair. a couple days later, another guy was hunting in the same stand and local dogs were heading into the woods. followed them and found it ~20 yds in the woods against the tree. shittiest feeling.

this is after hitting one and having a huge blood trail to start, tracking it ~200 yds into the woods, and then it going dry. went out the next day and found it about 60 yds from where we stopped.

I keep looking a AR's but I can't make my mind up on caliber. Either .223/5.56 or get a .22 model. I'm not sure how often I would shoot either, because I don't have a "range" that I can go to other than public hunting land or my grandma's house. Ever since I handled my uncles Ruger 556 a couple months back I've been eyeing them and think one would be neat to customize. How did you guys decide if anyone has ever been in my shoes. I'm sure most just go for the bigger caliber but thought I'd ask.

    Both? LOL
Which ever one you get and customize. Obviously you will never get back what you have put into them except for easily removable things. They both could serve as home protection although obviously 223 would be more effective, they’re both a blast! No pun intended. If you do buy the 22, I would definitely suggest the Smith and Wesson and not the Mossberg “ever” that thing was just a horrid mess, just a pistol with plastic covers!

Lol I'm not going to use a 22 to protect anything other than my fat belly while hunting for small game.

The Smith and Wesson 15-22 Sport II would be the model I would buy if I went with the 22. If I bought one of the bigger boys, I would probably get the Smith & Wesson 15 Sport (I think that's what it is) or the Ruger. Somewhere in that price point.

Although, if I went .22 I could start my daughter out shooting that, but I already have a Marlin model 60 .22LR. Decisions........Decisions
