I'D APPRECIATE ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO KEEP MY INFERNO-COMA CLEAN DURING THE WINTERTIME SINCE MOST CAR WASHES WILL BE CLOSED DUE TO LOW TEMPS. BOTH INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATED. MAYBE THERE ARE PRODUCTS OUT THERE TO HELP THAT I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT?

SOME OF THE LOCAL COIN OP PRESSURE WASHER STALLS ARE LIKELY USING HEATED WATER, SO YOU COULD CHECK THOSE OUT. THAT WAY AT LEAST THE EXTERIOR IS CLEAN.

Hit or miss proposition cleaning in winter...

Local "quarter car wash" to me has heated water. That said, it still freezes when you pull out of the bay. Good way to freeze weather stripping to door frame. Power washing gets water into places it just doesn't need to be in sub-freezing temps. I have a heated garage. I've been known to pull the truck inside, heat it up over night, then wash with bucket and brush. That doesn't help much with underneath. (Where I prefer to keep salt washed off)

I'm sorta OCD about keeping my truck clean. It gets dirty when the time is right, but stays clean the rest of the time. I despise working on dirty shit. That said, there's just times when you have to live with dirt. Washing does more harm than any possible good once it gets so cold.

In a NICE way... Trying to help you avoid future issues.....Avoid cap lock. There are folks who will beat the snot out of you here for that.

THANK YOU. YOUR CAR WASH IDEA WAS SPOT ON, IF IN FACT YOU ONLY HAVE 1 VEHICLE. MAYBE VASALINE UP THE DOOR RUBBER SO IT DOESN'T FREEZE.

WHY IS THAT? WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND, ALTHOUGH I WASH MY TRUCK ALL THE TIME IN THE WINTER AND THE RUBBER HAS NEVER FROZE?

VASELINE WILL DISSOLVE THE RUBBER. MAYBE JUST STICK WITH 303? SHOULD WORK TOO. OR SILICONE?

You live in South Carolina too!

Never had a problem with any of my Tacoma's. but ripped the drivers door weather strip off a Dodge 2500 about 5 years ago. It happens. Sux when it does...
