Nice! Mine never talked about it really...although I never asked him until he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He sat down that day and told me stories for hours! He died in 2005, i'd give anything to have him tell me some more.

Morning fellas and lady. the pup got into something or bit by something last night and swole up like a tick. she was still eating and didn't seem sick at all so we just watched it. it looked like she had her wisdom teeth removed haha. poor girl. she seems a little less swole this am.

I’m picking up my cap & gown this afternoon. Supposed to walk Saturday. Haven’t decided if I am or not. There’s a turtle rescue I want to go to and it’s only open on Thursday and Saturday. May head over to surf side while I’m out that way.

Now to decide if I want to drive the taco or the RAV4.

Damn, that's a lot of wars. That's B.A. My grandfather picked up two purple hearts at Bastogne with the 101st. He was a modest and humble man. That was a hell of a generation.

Same with mine, he never talked about it, I had to pry any info from him toward the end. I lost him in 2006, miss him dearly.

awesome! ive got a few friends in the turtle programs down here in Charleston. been on a few necropsies, and we catch them and tag them a lot on board our boat. I always like hearing of people outside of my complex volunteering to help these dinosaurs out.

Yeah, I have a shadow box that has his medals. I'll snap a pic when I get home, it's nice. I was also presented his flag at his funeral in Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island. A day I'll never forget.

Holy crap that's expensive.....I'm inspired to build my own, and not using their kit.

Nice find! We used Patrol boxes just like that when I was in scouts.

Ours had a slot the legs could slide through to act as carrying handles.

@scottalot my youngest got sick the other day- he now has confirmed strep. Is your daughter recovered?

Z-man is also home with a Montezuma's revenge stomach bug.

We picked up one of those burners that fits on top of the 16 oz propane bottles with the stand to stabilize it. Works like a champ, but either need one more or a stove for heating/cooking multiple things at once.
