    Hey guys,

Sorry if this has been covered somewhere else....

Just got my 2018, any recommendations between the hidden winch mounts, and does anyone know the biggest winch we can fit?

I just installed the CBI hidden winch mount (Yesterday). It took about 6 hours total to complete but it could be done faster if they provided instructions for it. I will say that they were quick to answer my questions by email and willing to talk by phone but I was disappointed in the lack of instruction. As for the build quality of the hidden winch bumper I will say it is very good and super solid. I currently have a Bad Lands 12,000 winch fit in it. One of the trickier parts was fabricating a mount system for the control box of the winch as it needs to be detached from the winch itself to fit in the space. You will need to be comfortable with removing the grill and whole front bumper. You also need to drop the front bumper to install some support brackets that get attached under the sway bar brackets. Hope this helps.

You could go with the SOS Concepts streamline like i have. It accepts a winch, still gives you the ability to add an LED light bar in the factory bumper, adds 2 strong recovery points, and looks pretty stock compared to a full plate bumper. I do not have a winch in mine yet but soon enough.

Nice bumper... is that powder coat or paint?

If I were to get that one I think I'd go Linex..

that is how you get your hands inside to the winch, if you have no aspirations for a winch, I am sure they could be left uncut

Thanks man! Mine is powder coat but I know he offers Linex as an option too. That linex holds up to some tough abuse haha.

Believe it or not, there are hundreds of thousands of "him" on Facebook. LOL. Any more pics of the blue truck? I like it without the hoop. How long have you had the linex one? And would you actually trust using those recovery points?

    Thanks.
