Ok, Huh? Is this some sort of, "see, I see bad things about 3rd Gen's" thing like we can't see what you see, so sucks to be us? I am so confused.

Maybe you want us to say, "You are so right and so smart and so good looking I wish we could all be you."

I can remember their reviews of the first gen, did not like them either. Says a lot about CR.

Optima and the Cruze are a dumpster fire too. I think the Miata, Impala, Q7 and Forester are pretty good picks, though.

Until 3rd gen frame issues come to fruition around 2023 or so (about 7 years after the first vehicles entered service). The frames between 2nd gen and 3rd gen are very similar, and higher-strength steels are more corrosion-prone.

That's why I bought a truck... Otherwise I'd would have picked up a Forester or something, and shit, even that has some off-road adventure potential.

The hell? Then way not just post your incendiary thread in the 2nd Gen forum and call it done?

No, I don't want Toyota 'to do better.' It want them to drag their feet and let 10yrs pass before they think about major model updates to the Taco. If the small [sic] truck market was going like the full size or there was actually small trucks out there, then your post might have some merit.

back in the day when I bought a 1st GEN Tacoma the battle Royale on the CR truck wars was the Nissan Frontier, whose better. the Nissan was slightly better price and slightly more powerfull v6. but I bought the Tacoma and paid a few thousand more and it was the best decision to buy a Toyota over the Nissan cause when the smoke cleared the Tacoma was on the top of the list for mid sized trucks, and I think its safe to say that there are more 1st GEN Toyotas still on the road than Frontiers of the same era. the same will be for the 3rd GEN Tacoma when the whiners finally sell the truck and get a Ridgeline or a Colorado/Canyon or Suburu and see that its not as good as the Tacoma that's when the reality will hit.

From everything I've read on various forums and reviews the off road 3rd Gen overall seems to be a decent truck for what it is but a very poor value overpriced by at least $10 K.

Wow they sold an average of 50 "cars" in each state. Amazing !
I think they were up 5000% once because they sold 50 instead of 1.

:rofl:I am with ya! I still use shampoo. A small bottle, 8 oz maybe, lasts me about 1 year now with a growing time span as time progresses. :pout:

My daughters, 26 and 30, are quite proud of my hairline with comments like "That extra forehead is our word", "Think of the money we save you on hair product", and "You have almost no grey hair, well if you exclude the beard" :annoyed:

Of course, my son is a bit more concerned that he can see his future.

Hair is supposedly a trait of the mother's father. I never met my Grandfather, but in the couple pics that I saw of him, he had a ton of hair. I sometimes feel like I have too much.

My Dad was getting pretty thin by my age and progressing fast.

I love reading the comments each month under these charts. The Chevy and Ford posters are deranged. They make our rants seem tame.
