Your Tundra is sick man! I like the detail you provided in this thread. Keep up the hard work and can’t wait to see more pictures and hear more stories

Three Feathers to Chiva Falls - October 20th-22nd, 2017

Back at it again for a full camping trip on the Chiva Falls Trail! This time would be quite a bit larger, and with all sorts of Yotas  We packed up a couple trucks and left late Friday afternoon to secure a camp spot. Here we have my buddy Ryan showing off his battle scars from the prerun

Had to grab some grub before heading out so we hung out with Alex @05tacomabro and he was kind enough to supply us with a ridiculous amount of firewood! Thanks again man

From there we were off and it was time for a Night Run  Gotta love that big ass decal on Ryan's Tundra!

Our campfire for the night, pretty cool backed right up to the wash walls in the sand. Perfect way to end the evening after a long work week! Now it was time for a full day of adventure.

A beautiful start to the day and perfect view from my morning "duties" #shitemoji

Jamie @JTS2014TACO and Nick in the T4R joined us late the night before so they could start the day with us.

Once we were up and ready to roll, @PLC721 and Ryan left their trucks at camp and jumped in with me since we would be taking on 3 Feathers. This would also be my first time ever attempting it from the harder route going from the bottom, and climbing up the obstacle ;) @PLC721 hooked me up with some cool action shots on the way there

Three Feathers to Chiva Falls - Continued

Continuing on from my second successful climb to date on the almighty 3 Feathers, I was feeling pretty good. Rinzler struggled in 2WD, but with enough skinny pedal I made it. Tron in 4LO was just too easy, and helped me realize I have the perfect setup height-wise to take on the most extreme trails I'm comfortable doing in this limo  All that's needed to make it absolutely perfect is a @Pelfreybilt Hi-clearance rear bumper  also maybe some air lockers... Nonetheless, my heart was content for the day, and the goal was to meet up with the rest of the group coming out that morning. I would lead the less brave trucks back to camp through the easier 2WD route and Alex @05tacomabro would lead the other half back down 3 Feathers. This plan was perfect in theory as we were right on time when all of a sudden just as Jamie @JTS2014TACO flawlessly finished 3 Feathers...."Uh oh, your ICON broke!"....

Pretty crazy the brand new RXT Rear shock broke that way, definitely worthy carnage on the trail. We just pulled the shock and Jamie ran the rest of the day with 3 shocks ;) Since this slowed us down abit I sped ahead to meet the rest of the group, and it wasn't long before we realized Alex talked EVERYONE into coming down the harder 3 Feathers route haha. You know, the exact trail we just almost completed  I was surprised to see everyone worked up the courage, but it ended up making the trip that much better. We did a 10 point turn and were back on the trail with the main group :headbang:

    Monster Tundra!

    I love this FRONT CAMERA!

My buddy Christian rocking his Tundra with a stock bumper gave me flashbacks to my first time out there with Tron haha...

You can see his drone flying way above him
    [IMG]

And then a view from his drone back at me haha
    [IMG]

Now that we were all lined up at the top, it was time to head back down 3 Feathers :D Thanks to @JTS2014TACO for more pics
    [IMG]

Then Christian making his way down, I think I was sweating more than him at this point
    [IMG]

Another Drone shot of the traffic jam

With no more carnage, everyone made it to camp! Jamie successfully ran up and down 3 Feathers with only 3 Shocks  Good job buddy

After a quick lunch break at camp we continued on to Chiva Falls. These pics taken from Christian's DJI Mavic Pro and the video are so expensive!! haha obviously because I now have to buy one...

We definitely should and definitely plan a monsoon month trip so we can check out the falls while they're raging!
Yep, I shall call it 3 shocks from now on in your presence haha and the story will be brought up every time we run it:cheers:
