I ran it for 750 or so miles before flashing to C and my mpgs were about what you’re getting. And about 2-3 overall lower than I get stock. I’ll get 14-15 city and up to 19-20 hwy that normally balances out to about 16-17 on 1.01b. One reason I flashed back bc it as hard to eat the extra fuel cost on top of running the golden gas

    I'm running 1.02C-A 87 for over 2k.

Same mpg as yours. I running 285/70/17 lifted.

I've seen better mpg on 102C-A 91. About 14-15.5 city and 15-17 highway.

Interesting - I know a few others experienced this. Perhaps the question you could canvass would be - who flashed to something oth e than A and why? Idk

I pre-ordered your tune, I'm seeing 19mpg at the moment (cold weather) with stock tune (21-22mpg in warm weather)....Am I really going to lose 4mpg when I install the OVTune?

no I don't think you will. From what I am reading some trucks are just getting better MPG than others, stock or with tune.

the best my truck has ever seen, on stock tune was 17mpg. my highway mileage with tune is barely any different, as the absolute "best' was about 16.8mpg on stock tune.

stock tune city driving is like 13-14mpg

I've never seen close to 20....

@OVTune What are your plan for this development?

I've been waiting for this since the beginning of your development.

Hopefully its somthing similar to the LC500 you've mentioned.

    Thanks in advance!

21mpg is easy to achieve doing 70mph, and it's hilly here in Cincinnati, I'd like to be the same or better with your tune (although I don't think it's possible to get better), I bought your tune for the mushy gas pedal feeling to go away lol

    Way over 500 miles and a sold 16.9-17.1 combined HWY (60%)/CITY (40%), 1.02C-A 87

My truck is a Pro with a Snugtop and Prinsu Cab and Topper racks which effect the MPGs

I had great mileage for the first couple hundred miles, around 24mpg combined (85% hwy, 15% city-ish).
Then after learning kicked in, the mileage went down to about 20-21 combined, and the truck reverted to its bad shifting habits.
After a couple hundred miles of THAT I quit using Cruise Control entirely, and whenever possible I would do quicker takeoffs than I would normally do.
About 200 miles later, the mileage started creeping up (about 22mpg combined), and the shifting improved to more like it was when first loading the tune.
I'm now only using Cruise Control sparsely, and continue to do jackrabbit starts when possible.
I'm at about 1200 miles now on 1.02C-A(91)... but running the 93 that's available here.

I too experience the hard 'thunk' of gear change or TC lockup when running 1.02C-A, fairly regularly. It seems to arise from a cold start & and in 1st/2nd gear.

Been running the stock toyota tune for the last couple months. Feels more refined overall than the OVTune. OP, your mileage will *hopefully* go up over time slowly. When I first got the truck I never saw better than 17-18, and after 20k or so miles I saw 22-23mpg.

The drive without OVTune feels gutless yet predictable. The drive with OVTune feels peppier but inconsistent. It's been a good ride, but I'll probably have the truck traded in before 1.03 is released.

I have a couple thousand miles on 1.02C - A. I cannot detect a change in mileage from stock. I consistently do 18.5-19.0 mpg in the suburbs where I live, and about 21 mpg at 70 mph on the highway. Highway mileage is better at 60 mph, and falls off pretty precipitously at 75 to 85 mph.

Glad to hear that the future tune is being built off of the already excellent 1.02C................................ Frank

My truck has never run as predictably and smoothly as it does on 1.01b. Do I get annoyed with the bogging in 6th, yes - but it doesn't feel as "heavy" when it does it and since he modified the throttle with that early release generally it isn't a crazy delay to downshift if I give it the pedal a bit. But yeah, while the 1.02c releases definitely brought more pep, it didn't feel refined in MY truck (but all trucks are different and it seems the general consensus is I am an outlier) and over time the "learning" actually introduced worse characteristics than even stock. But the MPGs I get on 1.01b are the exact same as I got on stock, but definitely lower on 1.02c

New ('17 ACOR) owner here. Has anyone tried cleaning/matching injectors before/with re-mapping?

Was averaging 16 stock hwy/city combined then with the tune saw 17 to 18 but now down to 16.5.
The other day I felt the clunk downshifting into 1st. And have only felt twice since then so not everyone but every once in a while.
    Truck remains stock with tune.
