Nope, don't interfere in any way, nor do they raise the hood. It didn't on mine, nor @GeneralGadsen's truck. I specifically checked for that because I have read that here. That would only do that if someone was dumb and installed them between the hood and the hinge.

You got pics of a short bedrack on your truck somewhere? For research purposes and asking for a friend :anonymous:

Nice - I am looking to combine my tonneau cover and bed rack, and started playing with the idea of a short bed rack so I can open the first section. Looks like it is a strong possibility. Who get you getting the new rack from?

    BAMF again.

I needed at least 17" above the bed sides to fit my current tent. The above rack is 13" above bedsides.

I think @Mobtown Offroad and @KB Voodoo offer bed racks that work with tonneaus. But might not get the height that I was looking for.

We have three different racks that work with tonneau covers that will satisfy your height requirements.

not sure about those leafs then..

I had Dakars, and then added the D29XL, and now AllPro Expos. All have handled the weight that I threw at them

I wish I had the money to do that but Dakar's will be the end of my 5k budget for everything. but all and all for everything I have done to my truck I think that 5k was very well spent

You should be good for now and a few trips to test it out but I would eventually upgrade to dakars or allpro. I have a similar 3 leaf without overload and have packed some stuff in there pretty good plus my shell and spare. It rode fine but could be better.
