Center dash panel question

My 2016 came with a rust colored center dash panel and door panels which I do not care for.

I ordered a black one for the dash and noticed it wasn't the soft touch material the rust one was, it was hard plastic.

For those whose truck came with the black colored panel, is it hard plastic soft material?

 

What is a "rust colored center dash panel" and "door panel" ? I don't know what parts you're specifically talking about.

I think he means caramel colored door panels as well as the dash panel. Maybe?

 

Sell it! They are highly sought after. Someone will trade you for a gray one plus some cash, easily.

I assume you are talking about the radio surround/orange trim.

I’m talking about the panel directly above the glove box,

If yours is black, is it hard plastic or a soft silicone like material

 

Mine is grey, but the same material as in your pic.

 

Is that kinda like the quicksand color? I'd probably swap them with you

 

Caramel is more accurate like somebody mentioned above. Is grey the stock color or is it black? I want black but I like the soft material

I believe that is what Toyota calls the color. You have grey, black/red, and black/caramel for the SR5. I might be purchasing an SR5 with the black/red interior. I’m curious to see how easy it will be to swap out the red panels.

 

It's the "normal" color. Maybe it is more black.

 

I would swap with you and i would pay your freight, but it would have to include all 4 door panels.

 

Do you know how to remove them all?

I'm trying to find picture to see how close it matches the quicksand color =/
