That was a fucking shit show. Broke my driver taillight (Still broken) and lost a light bar on that run

 

I ruined my ground tent at that campout, but it was warrantied through Coleman and they sent me a brand new one. Also ruined my shoes too.

 

How does one lose a light bar?

 

@2ndGenJonny & @Techoma were having the time of their lives driving in front of me watching me drag it across the mud for like half a mile.

This was a while back when I used to run a Damage Multiplier. Bolts came loose and I didn't notice that was dragging it by the cord.


EDIT: I also forgot to mention that I lost one of the 2 bolts prior to this run. Lets just say that I had a Swing-out light bar.

That’s myself & @taco 16.
We might have a couple others who will be down to caravan it from CA.
We will be looking to camp both Fri/Sat nights.
Any helpful info from you local folks related to camping in this area is greatly appreciated!!!

 

Bring some warmth, the desert gets cold.

I’ll let others recommend a place for the first night, but the second night I’d just cruise the trails and stay wherever you find a good spot.

 

That's what I plan on doing both nights. Just drive out on a nice hill somewhere and sleep on the flatbed. Leave the tent packed away unless it rains

 

Was thinking somewhere close to the start point for the first night and prob with the group campers near the bridge for Sat. @taco 16

Is it pretty much open camping in the whole surrounding areas?

 

Yeah its kinda just toss a tent down where you like, just dont block the trail or drive cross country, and pick up your trash. Same as most places. The areas in red are where I have seen tents set up, although legally your not supposed to camp within 100 feet of a river in AZ due to people dying in flash floods during thier sleep, but I have never had anyone get onto me about it.

 

Well, you can camp at Seven Springs which just happens to be a campground or at least what's left of the campground after a flash flood took out part of the camp site years ago. This is where the poker run will start.

You stop at 5 locations during the event and at each stop you pick up one poker card. The best hands at the end of the run will win prizes
