hey everyone ive been thinking about getting a tool box for my tacoma its silver and ive been looking around and my dad really wants me to buy a cam locker...

Have any of you guys had experience with cam lockers ?

I might be able to get him to pay the differance if i work on him here is a site with some info on them

    http://www.ezrideronline.com/american-aluminum-accessories-cam-locker

I was thinking of going low pro black...

Another thing i like the functionality of a tool box however i dont really want my truck to "look like a work truck".

    Thanks!

To be honest I really dont like the way the low pros look. I went with a regular one to help give the truck more height. It looks more aggressive IMO. You can check out the pictures I have on my profile or on my build page.

but i really like the way your truck looks def not a "work truck"

I was offered a silver tool box for my truck. I'm debating on whether or not to accept it or not. I like having full functionality of my bed, but it would be nice to have somewhere to toss my med kit, tow ropes and other shit.

    Decisions decisions.

I use a gull wing that opens individually on each side. It also allows me to easily slide my 17 Little Giant foot ladder in underneath it. I use my truck as a work truck so it is perfect for my use.

It doesnt obstruct your view at all. Looking in your rear view mirror without one, you see some of your back seat and the tailgate. With mine I see just a little bit of the toolbox edge. I'll take a picture later on when I get a chance.

black looks pretty nice too. Taylor Wings makes a NICE box, more solid than the UWS I used to have in another truck.
