Is the truck coming along or gets to sit in a warm garage away from the salt?

Not sure yet. They are trying to figure out if they want to give me a rental or pay me for my gas and mileage. They'll go with whatever the cheaper option is.

Modified the level of gas in the tank
Or, get yourself a set of dedicated off-road shoes in a size 16 or 17...swap when required

Eugene did that for a while.

Only problem is then you'll be less likely to get out cause you won't want to change tires for a day trip

Then, get a dedicated off road buggy. I'm agreeing with ya, its just what threshold one says enough is enough. I'll let ya know when I hit mine LOL

I guess rental is more likely, lol. :burnrubber:

It was fine to swap them if there was a long trips, but for a day trips it's not something that I was enjoying to do lol.
Plus all my neighbours gave me the look like "wtf are you doing, switching tires every 5 days?":deadhorse:

At the end I am going with a Coppers 33" pizza cutters on a 17" rims for a truck.
So if you happened to find more of a sport 17" rims on sale, let me know, looking for one more for my spare.

    that takes long though.

these are much faster when they remove the core.
But you could just get a core tool and pull it.

I duno about faster. I start at the same time as the guys with these tools, and I am done well before them.

I think the 15 seconds a tire that it COULD be faster, is not really worth the $$ in my eyes.

I have a core tool, and several spare core thingies incase I ever fuck shit up. I just see it as not needed to use. The key push works fine for me, I air down every chance I can, it does not take long. Most of the time my wife is doing 1 side while I do the other.

lol josh tried that when we went. I had all my tires aired down before he finished his second tire.

going from 32psi to 15psi those deflators are significantly faster.

I had a proud moment with my son. He's turning 16 on the 14th. He comes up to me and says "For my first car I want to get a 1st gen Tacoma and mod it all my self" little fucker almost brought a tear to my eye.
