    Just because nobody said it around you :rolleyes: its been a thing for a looong time, but not the first time its been debated :thumbsup:

    "Well, I remember a magazine article from the mid 80's where they were having a 4-way shootout between the big 4 125 MX bikes. They used spelled out sounds to explain types of throttle response. They used "Brup" to describe the CR125, "Burrap" for the KX, "Braaap" for the RM, and "Buuriiing" for the YZ. They were all 2-strokes obviously...."

    Huh. I still think it's 4 stroke. My first dirtbike was a cr250 when I was 9. Me dad bought it for me, he called it the Yang-dang death machine. It was so tall he had to run out on track after holeshot and get my stool I used to start

    Hell i still cant touch the ground on any of my bikes to this day. 32 inch inseam. I ride a 38 inch seat height bike. I like how on this site if someone else does something that you cant or you would have been incable of doing it, they must be lying. Get a life weirdos.

    Which is why originally I said it just applies to dirt bikes/quads in general. You loopy people keep trying to say its only for 4 strokes. Urban dictionary actually says anything with a motor, and it was around waaaay before 4 stroke race dirt bikes became popular, its pretty simple

    Gotta back up my CR250 bro.

    Braap = 2 stroke.

    Thumper = 4 stroke.

    Completely different sound.

    I actually always thought it was for 2-strokes, I was just trying to settle the debate.
