    I've come across some good stuff lately. I don't mind a really hoppy IPA, but only one, I really prefer stouts and porters.
    When in doubt, I always choose local and fresh.

    My go-to commercial beer is Founders All-Day IPA 15 pack. I can get it anywhere here that sells beer, about a buck a can, and with low maltiness it doesn't matter if it is two months old and the hops have dropped off...still balanced. Plus I feel justified drinking it at any point in the day.
