of course this storm comes the weekend I'm driving to MD to get a bed for my truck.
Can't decide to go down 95 or 81. Finally decided 95 & here's a map showing 5" snow on 95 & 2" snow on 81 if I'm reading this right. shesh....

 

Ahhh you’ll be fine. I’ve driven up 95 when the state was “closed” it was just me and the power trucks headed north.

Well, at least I finished the leaves yesterday.
Rearranged the shed ,mowers put away and Winterized and snowblower ready to go.

 

Yea I need to mow the leaves at last one more time.

Also no slowblower yet, buddy is supposed to be “fixing one up” for me.

 

Freakin oaks killed me this year...and I don't even own any.

 

Yea that was my issue last year.



But I have solved my acorn problem indefinitely.

Now to take care of those damn hickory’s dropping nuts all over!

Good morning everyone! Happy fucking Friday at last! Can't wait for this day to be offer, so I can ENJOY my 4 days off next week... before my co-worker is off for 3 weeks.

Vacation day for me. Hmm, maybe I should go hangout at the grocery store and move really slow just to muddy up the works. I'm sure it'll be a zoo with the impending snow of doom...

 

Going to scatter out of work at noon today...

Because of the impending "snow doom", going to hopefully get my winter wheels swapped at the Firestone in Brookfield, take my snow blower out of the shed, and hopefully put away my deck furniture.

 

Mine is in the garage & since I'll be driving 95 all day you should come borrow mine. Of course you'll have to use it to clear my driveway so you can get it out - LOL.

I just hate coming home to a snow covered driveway, hate driving on it before cleaning it as the tire tracks make things so much harder.

 

I'll be driving past Firestone soon - will look for Red & Black (although I prefer a Black & Tan...).

 

Shooting to be there by 1pm. Feel free to stop by and shoot the shit with me for a bit if you got nothing better to do.

 

That is pure awesome right there! I have been removing those hickory's 1 or 2 per year as my wallet allows. I'm down to a couple on my neighbors property, but they'll come down - with or without his wallet helping. Love what you did with that tree(s).
