    None....yet.
I can agree with you on this. I just want the looks of a more strong mid size. I don't off road AT ALL. Because I can't afford repairs if I do. Like you, I admire the attention to detail Taco owners and other truck owners have for putting the best of the best in their builds. If I could...I would! Part of it for me is that I don't have as much knowledge to know what to put in my truck and what not to put. Thats why all I do is read this website. I'm learning a lot lol

I did a lot of reading on this months ago... I was going to get the LROR 3/1 level lift...

Decided i wouldn't lift my truck unless/until i could afford to buy 5100 all around, 887s and an AAL for the rear... Since i live on military disability... I'll probably never lift my truck.

But i off-road very often. It's why i traded my 2016 2wd for a 2017 4x4... I feel using the wrong lift would be going backwards... No reason to do that...

Also... I see a lot of people commenting they put a lift to fit 265/75/16 or 265/70/17... These sizes fit fine without any lift...

My truck with stock suspension, 265/75/16 falken wildpeaks...

    No Rubbing whatsoever.

Next to my brother's Silverado with a 3" lift and 285s

I bought my truck at auction with a 3/2 spacer lift. The ride was rough and the truck didnt drive straight. Yhe first thing I bought was 5100s, 887 springs, AAL and UCAs and it is much better.

I went with the lift from lowrangeoffroad, 3 to 1, but ended up with reverse rake, so I bought a set of Dakar 3" lift spring packs, leveled the truck out and looks great!

Here is mine, the way I bought it...
Lift: 2" spacer in front & 2" block in rear. On TRD sport shocks.
    Tires: 275/70r18 Mastercraft MTX
Wheels: 18×9 ION Alloy 135 in gun-metal (not sure of backspacing)
No rubbing & no cutting involved. I have had zero issues with mine so far....With that being said I have not taken it off-road on any serious trails or terrain. When I do, I will reevaluate & make changes if necessary.
The purists will want to flame you for asking about spacers..... just know, some of those guys consider plasti-dip a "mod" :crapstorm:.
It's your truck, do what really works for you & your budget.

So someone had a bad experience using spacers so now most think they are garbage? Which they probably put the truck in a position it wasn’t supposed to be in. I haven’t seen anyone with a problem with spacers. Only here. Just my opinion.

Of course off roading is going to take a toll on any suspension parts. Gotta pay to play. Better quality products are going to do better. All comes down to what your using it for.

Nice truck and stance! I hope you have better luck that I did. I had a 2inch Readylift spacer added to my 2016 Off Road. Initially, everything seemed fine. Within 5 days I felt a bad vibration in floorboard, pedals and steering wheel. I immediately rememembered reading something about a needle bearing problem. When placing the truck in 4WD the vibration went away. I was scheduled for my 20K mile service and told the service manager about the problem and even told him about the recently added 2inch spacer that I had installed. He didn’t think that the spacer would have anything to do with the vibration. Later in the afternoon he called to say that the needle bearing was replaced under warranty. I’ve had the truck since September 2015 and never have I had any issues. I decided to remove the spacer before the needle bearing possibly went bad again since my truck is still under factory bumper to bumper warranty until Sept 2018. I know the same thing could have happened if I had gone with my planned Bilstein 5100 shocks, but it’s just not an issue that I want to deal with right now. I will definitely get the ECGS bearing upgrade when lifting again. Hope you don’t have any issues.

I originally ran the 3/1 Pro Comp leveling kit for about 6 months on my truck. The local dealer here in San Diego actually runs the same kit on their Tacoma lifts, which they warranty. I took it off road a couple times and drove everywhere in my truck and had no issues in ride whatsoever. It enabled me to run the 285 70 17 tires with no clearance issues. After the 6 months I got a camper on the back of my truck and it started to sag a bit so I ended up switching out the 1 inch rear block for 2 inch and that leveled it back out. The total amount of months that I ran the leveling kit was 10 months. To be honest with you if you do your own work and you have a lifetime alignment then go ahead and do it. I feel like my ride was just fine. Eventually though I went with the ome bp-51 setup (pretty expensive for most people) which is what I'm currently running. And again I do all my own installs and have the lifetime alignment. The two pictures I included are my original Pro Comp lift and then the later lift with the ome bp-51.

@LRAYS so far, so good. I've had no problems, my truck runs like a sewing machine. I know some have had needle bearing issues, regardless of the type of lift and some with stock suspensions too. So far, my truck has not been effected (knock on wood). I will keep an eye on it and will definitely upgrade like you suggest when necessary.

The spacer lift does not change the stiffness of the ride. The only odd condition you might experience is a top out clunk if you hit a speed bump fast enough. I had a spacer lift on a Nissan (last truck) and the ride was unchanged. It's just raising the stock suspension. Fine for every day use and dirt roads.
