Meh. Depends. The stock 18's usually end up being around the same price as the stock 20's just because they sell so damn many of them. But if you want something more aggressive the 18's are usually cheaper.

If you've got the 18's your truck probably came with either Fuel Max's or Fortitude HT's, but sometimes they throw SR-A's on there.

Edit- The Fortitudes aren't bad in the snow, actually, for being such a tame tire. Not much good in ice, but mine did surprisingly well for me last year. Once they do break traction they take longer to regain it than a more aggressive tire, though. No personal experience with the Fuel Max

I think my GF wanted to go to yoga which gets out right before 8; also trying to figure out if she wants to go. I'm out of work at 4 usually, is there anywhere at your house that you could hide for me to grab it before 8?

They are Goodyear Wrangler 265/65/R18's SR-A's. Are they decent? Look like they will do well in the snow.

Those should be pretty good in the snow. My friend had them on a Nissan Armada and he liked them

Yeah, SR/A's are decent. GY designed them as a direct competitor for the Michelin LTX

Oh, well that Michelin is my favorite so that's good. I may find out tomorrow, they keep bumping up the time that the snow will happen. It wasn't supposed to be until later but now it looks like flurries in the AM as well.

Guess it's time to get the pile of shit off the snowblower. I need to take down the damn trampoline which I doubt will happen before this snow. :bananadead:

I should cover the boats but I'm still hoping to find some open water to fish in the next few weeks.

The C-Series 30" bar installed behind the grille will look excellent on yours, and I assure you it will be much more than just "the middle ground"! It is a fantastic light with raw lumens of 16,200 but more importantly lux value of 2,050 lx. And for the price ($342.99 MSRP) you can't go wrong.

Our FLEX 30" bar is definitely a step up in terms of output, technology, but also price. The C-Series is a solid light for those looking for an affordable option. PM me for pricing too

    Here's pics of a C-Series on a 3rd gen belonging to @obz.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's not sitting on stock suspension... I do like that you can disconnect the sway bars though.
At least they're new so I'm sure they'll do fine. Even a half decent all season will do fine for it's first season.
20" truck tires aren't that bad actually. They've become so common that you can find the at a good price now. I like the 20s better because of the shorter sidewall. I can get away with a lighter tire and get less sidewall flex when towing so the back end doesn't feel as soft. A taller sidewall and the P rated tires that a lot of trucks come with can make the back end feel like it's moving side to side.
170k miles happened. I know, in the Toyota world, it's just a baby. Mechanic is thinking wrist pin as an initial guess. The truck really has just been a commuter. It never tows and typically only has my dad and his files for work so minimal weight. Up until now, he hasn't done anything to it, just brakes, tires and oil changes.

Doesn't say on the company's website. It's got more lift than the stock truck, but doesn't say how much. I know that the factory power wagons outscore factory Raptors on an RTI ramp, though.
