    Hey man,

The install is pretty straight forward and simple. If you do it yourself maybe 3-4 hours but defiantly makes it easier if you have a buddy help you!

    Hey James,

Surprisingly there isn't too much difference, the truck handles it just fine. My next size will be a 255 85 16 ST Maxx. The only reason I bought these 285 75 16's is cause i got them for $540 installed on the truck!

Corey, is there a way to utilize the factory heat shield?
If there is, then I’d be tempted to try to get away with using this here in Cali - in the hope of getting thru an eventual smog check. Banking on the fact that with the heat shield in place, it’s possible that the technician wouldn’t notice the header.

No way to use the heat shield cause it gets bolted to the header pipes itself with welded nuts on the stock pipes. Plus even if you hid it in cali i highly doubt it would pass.

This statement is directly on the LCE Webstie:
Note: This header IS NOT C.A.R.B. Approved. Not for street use in California.

All ready for the salt and snow. Swapped the 285/75/16 Cooper ST Maxx on SCS Ray 10s out for my winter 265/75/16 Cooper M+S Snow Tires on a set of stock SR5 wheels!

How's the header holding up? Curious about the finish, welds, and any leaks? Do you feel it hurt your mpg at all? Nice build!

When you cut the plug off of the new LED headlight and connected the three wires to the stock wiring harness (which you also cut the plug off of), did you need to put anything in between the wiring harness and the new LED headlight wires like a ballast or something? I just didn't know if it's safe to just splice the wiring harness right onto the LED strip three wires. And which wire from the old wiring harness did you cut and run to the LED, was it the side blinker bulb or the DRL/blinker?

Thanks for any advice you can give me

Hey moe, I was wondering what this plug is? I know you said to splice the three wires from my DRL/turn signal, but what is this last fifth one? I don't have another wire for it. Thank you for your wiring knowledge and happy holidays !

Okay great that's what i thought. I only have four wires going to my stock headlight, but the new headlight has five connections. I was wondering if you took the side turn signal harness and connected it to the plug labeled '?' And just left your side turn signal empty or something else? I know that the DRL is a simple splice, but I only have four wires for HB, LB, DRL, and my side turn signal. I don't have another wire for the turn signal plug labeled '?'. I was wondering which wire you used to connect '?' Or maybe if you had a picture of the back of your lights all installed. Thank you for all of your responses with this, I can't explain how much it helps!
