Apparently. I think most of this is due to mobile homes. Also James Spann has talked about the fact that people don't listen to meteorologist, they listen for the tornado siren. How are you going to hear a siren in the middle of a thunderstorm unless you're outside standing under it? Most people say when interviewed that they didn't even hear the siren. I personally don't listen for that. We have a weather radio that is so damn loud it would wake up the dead if placed in a cemetery.

 

It just took us 3 hours of cutting trees up, and moving downed power lines to get out of my neighborhood. Power is out, not having any fun in the snow lol

 

I should probably get a weather raido since I don’t have cable, I have that lee county app thing you suggested though. Fun fact, James Spann went to my church back in Birmingham and we talked a couple times

 

You should definitely go buy one. They have them at Publix, CVS, Walgreens, Lowes etc. etc. They are easy to program. That's cool about Spann.
