Manual transmission dipstick?

    Should still come in standard. If you are basing it on the Toyota website, that only shows inventory in your area. For standard trans OR, you'll most likely have to work with a dealership and have them customize one of their allocated vehicles for you.

    thx for the info! will try another market for the standard. travel is not a problem. Another thing is the OR trim jumped up like $5000 over 2017 with very little to no changes from I can see.

    tried the las vegas and phoenix market. no standard x mission on the 2018 Tacoma OR !

    They're available in the NorCal area. I can't remember all of Toyota's distribution regions off the top of my head but keep looking. Just remember that you can't get a DCLB in a stick at all or an AC in OR trim with a stick.

    ahh yes, that is what it was. access cab in or trim with a stick. I will buy ac manual in sport model and upgrade the suspension as I go. Was no tow package on this last time i checked. I am pretty sure I will have to order what I want since standard shift is becoming obsolete.

    In Canada we can get an TRD OR access cab long box with the M6. :canada:

    Many ZF and Getrag manual units do call for ATF or a GL-5 spec fluid. So, not obvious if you are used to working on European (BMW, Volvo, etc) cars or Fords with Getrags.

    But, yes, in this case... it calls for Toyota Genuine Manual Transmission Gear Oil GL-3 (GL-4) or equivalent, SAE
