Where are the Black Pro's?

Still haven't seen a picture of one of the new Black Pro's, but plenty of Calvary Blue Pro's. Why the exclusivity? I wonder if it'll be rarer than Barcelona Red.

 

Dealer friend I bought from said Toyota was pushing the new color and that the majority of the first run pros would be cavalry. Since I ordered black he said it would take a bit longer, hence an eta of 12/20 instead of maybe all ready having it.

 

They make them in stages. Same thing last year. The cement was first production, then red and white. They only make certain colors at a time. Second run of cavalry will be a few months later and so on. I think the black will look really slick.

 

I have a build date of 12/20 for a cavalry Blue pro.

 

Funny that you started this thread, as I was about to start it myself! It seems like cavalry blue is popping up all over. I know everyone gets excited about the brand new colors, but as we all know now, it won’t be exclusive for long. I like cement, but I did opt for a Barcelona Red. I think years from now (fanboys please don’t shoot me), the cements and cavalry blues may look dated.
I think a classic like black or red may withstand the test of time. At any rate, interested to see how the new black will look on the pro!

 

The Pro in Black will look bad ass. I had a black tundra and it sure looked awesome when clean. Unfortunately, black does not stay clean for long, and that was part of the reason why I went with the Barcelona Red. Furthermore, that was the only Pro my dealership had in stock.

 

There is suppose to be one on a lot I am checking out tomorrow. If that I works out and the weather cooperates I'll take some pics and post some info. They have a calvary and then a 2017 in the grey.

 

What state are you in? Can you see how much they want for the Gray 17

 

really liked my 2015 black Pro, but that was one of the reasons i got rid of it, it was black, looked good clean, but never stayed clean for long,, love my cement pro, never looks dirty.

 

Well, they didn't have the black pro in stock even though they said they did. They also sold the blue manual yesterday but never bothered to tell me. Since I had an appointment specifically to drive a manual pro that would have been proper customer service. I get that they sold it, but I was specific about why I was wanting to come in and the 1-1/2 round trip waste weights on me as to who I'd like to deal with in the future.

State is VA.

 

They wouldn't want you to not come in.

Really glad my pro didn’t have those predator side steps on it. Personally not a fan of those. A lot of better looking choices out there. Without the dealer mark up.

I like them. It's a pretty clean look for folks who needs steps. Also, not sure why this is in italics, but it makes feel fancy.
