    I think that the OP or thread starter should have the option to keep certain members from posting on their threads. I've seen good threads get locked b/c some arrogant prick wants to start a Poo throwing contest.
    If the OP was able to click "lock" or "ban" on a user they didnt want posting in their thread to keep it clean and relevant would be a nice addition.

    Im tired of Pandajerk trashing up all my threads:p


    but seriously though, I think it would be a nice option

    themaster threw that idea at me after seeing exactly what you described. a couple of users crapping on a otherwise good thread. when i'm done with it, mods will be able to block people from threads. just pm the mod and we can keep trouble makers out (when it's done, not now)

    that was my first thought, but then i'd have to do a database look up for every person who's viewing every thread...unnecessary load on the server. better to look up if you're blocked when a post is actually attempted.

    You clearly know what you're talking about more than I do... I defer to your judgement.

    Yeah... I would think that the mods would have to self-police the blocking. If the OP can request that a user be blocked rather than actually block the person him/her self, I think that would cut down on people just blocking others willy nilly b/c a mod would have to basically approve the blockage.
