I just purchased a new-to-me 2005 Tacoma 4x4 TRD. It came with a canopy I do not need and have already removed. How do we now remove the electrical wires for the canopy?

I have already ordered WeatherTech floor mats, based on comments and reviews on this forum. I am also considering seat covers to protect against dirt. Are the Wet Okoles the recommended way to go?

Thanks for the help and any other advice you may have.

Welcome... from what I've heard Wet Okoles are the favorite and you will love the WeatherTechs. I just got my WTs and they fit perfect and do the job well.

As far as seat covers, I have Toyota TRD seat covers. They are sturdy and have lasted several years so far...

The wires are usually just cinched in with a tap connector. Just take them off, super easy.

It is a short bed, and the cap is already sold. Thanks for the welcome. I'm learning my way around!
