    This is correct. The propane will leach the oil in the rubber hose and and clog the burner orifice. Hose filter is cheap. Mr Buddy and Coleman makes them.

    YouTube it. It’ll show you how to freeze the 1lb tanks before refilling and that you gotta flip the 20lb tank upside down. A scale helps to know if and how much you filled.

    Get the adapter piece from Amazon for under $10

    For garage use your def better off getting a 20lb tank, like $30 for tank and first fill, bout $15 fills after that. Again get adapter hose from amazon for option lengths and best cost

    Don't do the propane exchanges that all the stores sell. They're more expensive per 20#.

    You can, there is an adapter you can buy. I believe it's basically so you can use a big tank upside down so you fill it with the liquid form... some people swear by it. I have a good amount of empty tanks with the intent of trying it, but never got around to it
