Oh they were neat trucks but I was coming from a full size Dodge at the time and the third gen felt like I was still in a full size truck which was not what I wanted. TBH the 4cyl 2nd gen didn't feel like it had much less power than the 3rd gen v6 to me. I know this is all subjective and don't mean to bash a third gen in any way it just wasn't for me. I ended up with a 13 2.7 AC AT and loved it until we bought our little camper and I now have a 15 DCSB 4.0 MT I really like this truck

Nice. Everybody has different views on trucks, but the third gen ain’t for me either. I’m a big feller, 6’3 and when I sat I’m the 3rd gen, the windshield felt really small and I felt like I sat with my head in the roof. I think the front end is so huge is why it feels like such a big truck. But inside he truck to me felt kinda small

I'm just average size I guess at 5'10" but I kinda got the opposite effect it felt big. I asked why and the dealer told me they were 4" wider than a second gen. IDk like you the 2nd gen was just a better fit for me

I may have tweaked a few things...
Finally got my 3rd brake light wired on my camper shell this week.

I already replaced the clamps and t-handle key, as well as repainted it, so this was the last step. Now I just have to wait for my MattGecko LED kit!

So you did the under the rail strips and also a couple strips on the ceiling? I wasn’t sure I would need both for my setup, but I ordered both anyway. I’m really looking forward to being able to light it up back there.

Wanted to be more active on TW so here's what I've done, not today, but since I got the truck Nov 6. Is there a way to resize these? This is pretty obnoxious.

Gauge LED swap, also did the radio but botched a soldering job on the Folder button LEDs so I'm to ashamed to show it.

Plasti derped my grill surround. A couple spots I taped too far onto the chrome and the dip peeled a bit, but it went from 1000 degrees to cold in like 2 days, so I didn't repaint or touch up.

Also derped the rear badging. Havent decided on debadging or derping the side badges yet.

If you still have my number and were somewhat close you could have gotten in touch with me. I would have helped you out.

I am on day two. They put me in a new Durango. The heated seats and steering wheel have been nice on the 15 degree mornings.

It does have that look eh. I think around the 12-14 is when it started going down hill aesthetic wise. I try to wave to all my taco brethren , regardless of model but get almost nothing back

You got a point but I mean I was pointing down hill. It was more of a momentum thing than a engine size thing.

Thanks I appreciate it. Yeah I’ve still got it. I had a buddy who was about 10 minutes behind me who I called. The guy in a duramax just. Eat him to the punch. I’ll keep that in mind though, and like wise. Give me a shout as well and I’ll see what I can’t do
