Is this the point that I'm supposed to feel sorry for you? Be glad you didn't kill anyone and pay your debt to society. Everyone makes mistakes, the smart ones learn from their mistakes. Good luck.

The penalties should be stiffer. I have no sympathy, but I wish you the best in getting your life turned around.

First thing is first. You obviously lack the needed self control to not do this kind of thing in the first place. Time to quit drinking altogether. Next would be to actually give one of those sharks a call. If you do not have representation of some sort, kiss your license goodbye. As for the pain of having to come up with the fine. No sympathy here. You screwed up, and will simply have to contend with the consequences, whatever they will end up being. This is in no way, shape, or form in the same league as getting busted for 5 to 10 over the speed limit.

^ yea, sucks but you gotta take this one on the chin....I'm not gonna lie and say that I haven't had a few nights that I drove and shouldn't have. Sometimes it's easier to just chance it but I bet you won't do it twice....Could have been way worse though, you could be looking at time for vehicular manslaughter. I know in Jersey the first one you catch is an automatic 6 months loss of license. Good luck man.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Sounds like you got lucky, you should be very thankful you got a DWI. You should say thanks every day. You should respect your punishment and happily pawn your belongings to make restitution/pay fines.

    • How awesome that no one was hurt or killed by your actions.
    • How amazing that you get the opportunity to learn a valuable life lesson - to rethink your life, and it cost you so little for the education.

OK, if you've read this far then might as well read this then if it makes you cry, makes your stomach turn... then maybe, just maybe it was all worth it?

Best wishes for lessons learned and better days ahead.

You'll have to get someone to drive you to work next week. Or take a bus/walk. Not much you can do. As far as the bills: Just call them and work out a payment plan...they usually do if you are under 60days.

From personal experience my only input to this is simply this: don't waste money on a lawyer. Save that money to pay off fines and such. At least in arizona getting representation is pointless, idk how the laws are where you live
