So according to the VA online calculators I make too much money and don't qualify. However because I was in the first Desert Storm and worked in the Engine and Boiler rooms most likely qualify for hearing lost disability at 10% Of course that is not on any VA website and still takes a VSO to help me qualify to get it. They don't make it easy for anyone now days which is just plain wrong IMO.

Both the guys I was with last night are 66 and have hearing aids through the VA. I'm the young kid will not be 60 for a few more months. They say that is the best benefit hearing aids run $5-$6K  And John said it was the best thing he has ever done for his sex life now he can hear his wife and she doesn't think he is blowing her off anymore

Always liked the Maine Mall, everyone else is usually dressed like me in a flannel shirt. And of course LL Bean to the North a little bit.

A lot of people around here think traveling South is a trip down to Iowa LOL. I like Iowa, lot of jokes around here between Iowa, Wi. and Mn. Twin Tiers of NY and Pa. get a lot of lake effect snow. But it is at least 20 degrees colder each day in the winter here. The snow just never seems to melt once it comes.

Morning all. No snow yet, just gloomy.

Over did it yesterday. I put the snow tires on the truck, got the snowblower out and prepped, then put the plow on the quad. Lots of breaks in between but, today, the back and leg muscles are letting me know they aren't happy at all.

You know why the state of Minnesota was established?

It’s to protect the Canadians from the folks down south.

Minnesota, the land of 10k lakes, 10mil Petersons and 11ty billion mosquitoes.

If that’s what they’re using it fer they might be doing it wrong.

Kinda like using an adjustable wrench as screwdriver.

LOL yeah and named Ole, Lena and Sven. When I first moved here one of the guys I worked with that is from the Iowa Mn. line and never ever told jokes caught me off guard one day. We were talking about hunting and he said you know the geese fly upside down over Iowa when they move South out of Canada? I stared at him and said what?! He said yeah there isn't anything in Iowa even worth shitting on. Then laughed for almost 5 minutes straight. Strange character only way you can tell if you are in one State or the other are the road signs. More pheasants down in Iowa than the Mn. side though.

Changes every year between Wi. and Mn. but why doesn't Iowa have a pro football team? Because then Wi. would want one too. They don't get to say that often around here and IMO the Packers are a class act don't care who you are or where your from....

On the ships I would take every damn Oklahoma socket set (Adjustable Wrench) and lock them up so people wouldn't round the heads off bolts. Damn kids, go grab a box wrench and get the right tool for the job!
