Thanks Danny. Like he said I'm looking for a place semi near LAX, due to flight changes I'm picking up my girlfriend there tomorrow morning instead of Vegas now. I'll be coming from the Utah/Nevada area, so the Eastern side. Also would like to avoid the fires, but I don't know much about them or where they are since I'm from Alabama...

Thanks for the help guys. This flight stuff has been a mess. Amazing what an inch of snow does to the world's largest airport. She was supposed to fly into Vegas tonight, but that got cancelled, so then we found her a flight into LAX tomorrow morning which got cancelled after she got to the airport. She didn't have anywhere to go so she was going to check in and sit at the airport for 48 hours until they could get her out Sunday morning. Then the guy at the counter said if she's fast she can probably make the last flight leaving tonight for LA. So she's on that flight now, and I'm headed to LA tonight to pick her up. Almost in California now.

Illbe out west for 8 more days before I start to head back. I planned to go to Joshua Tree, as well as death valley, mojave, spend a little time along the coast between LA and Monterey, and then the grand canyon also. Either Mojave or Joshua tree probably has to go though since this whole flight thing threw a wrench in our schedule.

I probably won't be there until later this week, but I need to redo the plan since we're starting in LA now instead of Vegas...

 

Don't worry about, keep on drinking haha. I should actually beat her there since she sat on the runway for like 3 hours before taking off.

My girl and I would like to make it but I’m curretly running no front bumper so I’m kind of pavement locked until my bumper is finished.

Austin is a great town, I grew up there for about 9 years total (moved back and forth as a kid) in Round Rock, suburb just outside of Austin. Not sure what the wheeling is like out there though

A bumper?
I’m not understanding the issue here ...a prerunner “tube bumper” or no bumper pretty much the same shit.
Just don’t sniff the ass of the person in front you (drive so close) eyeing for the one eyed brown eye ...that you get a rock launched into your radiator (cause leak) and there will be no issues...
But even with a bumper this still happens which I always repeat to people on the trail “quit riding each other’s Ass leave space” ...rock in the windshield, radiator etc etc

Yeah I hear ya. But shit happens and it’s an issue I know could happen before we hit the trail. I don’t want to be the guy that slows or stops the group. Especially when I knew it could be a problem before hand.

 

Well fuck...my fuel pump is whining/hissing like crazy, can hear it in the cab while driving. Just had it replaced with a new high flow one from URD over summer too.
