2017 Christmas Tree Build

We opted for a local cypress that had not been trimmed gives it a cool crazy hair type look.

 

That's a cool look.

 

Someone has a cat. The stocking on the mantle, the messed up tree skirt and the ornament on the ground is a dead give away

 

Pretty tight fit moving it from the garage to the living room (even with 36" doors). She's a healthy plus size!

No more tabletop tree! With my great grandparents door in back

 

went bigger this year... little girl is almost 6 so we're ramping up the efforts. and now an 8 month old boy and another on the way. in a few years the tree's gonna be as big as the house.

 

Disregard the hairdryer under the tree. It's supposed to deter the cat from messin' with the tree, but it doesn't really work.

Great looking tree.

A simple motion alarm from Radio Shack kept our cat away years ago. Once in awhile we would hear it fire off at 2am....but not often. She very quickly learned to avoid the tree altogether

 

I bought it....probably 20 years ago. Runs on a 9 volt battery.
