What offers more control off roading?

I was referring to the people that complain about the new auto trans on the highway . I don't see an issue .
For low traction situations the AT gives you an additional option not available with a MT .

 

What option does the AT give you in low traction? Are we talking about the off road CC

 

When your dead stuck and all hope is lost stack rocks and CC finds a way ..what' not to love. Run the rear locker then if there is no forward movement CC.
No shame in using your equipment.

 

So? I'll let Toyota push the gas and brake for me all day long for that terrain. It is way more efficient than a manual for when I go off road.

 

Yes its' a automatic only option.

 

For stock trucks without compound low transfercases, Automatic all the time. You can stop in precarious positions and be in full control with gas and brake and make proper decisions to inch your way when control really counts.

 

Stack rocks and the 4x4 MT has always found its way.

 

The MT off road 4x4 also have CC

 

Some of us also either can't or don't enjoy shifting gears.

With skill/experience, a MT can be “inched” also. Hahaha. Someone who can drive a MT help me out here.

Disposition. I do too but I reserve shifting for bikes and sports cars

I'm right there with you my last 3 cars and my 13 taco 4x4 were mt . There is something to CC .

 

I feel like this is flirting with the fine line that is fact and opinion.
The locker can be added so is CC better than MT. Is there a 100% non opinion based answer?
