Yep, 17" TRD Pro 4Runner wheels. It was right at $1100 for everything you see there in the picture. Wheels/tires were even more. Lift Sunday. Tires Monday/Tuesday (hopefully!). Then pics soon to follow. Can't wait!

Thanks for the kind words! My brother's and I plan on continuing his legacy. My kids are already selling. I sold to a guy that brings his family every year, along with his newest grandson. His father brought him to get trees when he was just a little boy. My dad has a legacy of a builder and entrepreneur in this city of about 100,000, that will long outlive me. A large front page article of tribute to him two Saturdays ago, was a fitting tribute! He has big boots to fill, and it will take all my brothers and I to try to fill them.

 

I try to remind my wife sometimes. Lol.

loved my rx350 with all the tech and amenities, sold it to my ex when we broke up, she convinced me to get a tacoma (bought the lexus because that is what she wanted).

I feel the same, i will never be able to fill the shoes of what my grandfather and father have done, but i am definitely proud of them.

What did I do today....I removed my gears to get ready for the new gears. I’m not sure if we just made good timing or not, but it only took an hour to remove both the front and back. It wasn’t hard at all. That’s even with taking our time and BSing the whole time. Very easy job. I really really hope that shops aren’t charging people for longer than an hour to do this step. Dropping gears off on Monday to get set up. Picking them back up on Tuesday. Re-Installing on Tuesday, but may have to wait until Thursday. Then I’m off to breaking the new gears in. Yay!!!

 

Oh I know how it is! Happy wife, happy life. The es300h she let me buy US has every option, and a couple mods. Sport mode and the Mark Levinson stereo system are my fav things.

Nice work. An hour is about right for removal. The time consuming part is in the setup and replacing the axle seals.

 

Yea, the Atomic Silver is mesmerizing in any light source. That stereo system is practically unrivalled in sound quality. The decibels aren't too shabby either.

 

Have you done it yet? Seems they have had several updates already, so I would rather wait a bit. Besides, that's not exactly what I would call an inexpensive mod. I was thinking more like a coin holder! Lol.

 

Yeah. Dan usually gets all the gears set up the same day so hoping that I will actually be able to drop them off in the morning on Monday and then pick them up a little later that same day since I’ll be in the area.
