That would be why you practice with snap caps and then blanks. Blanks are dangerous but not near as dangerous as a real round. :} if you notice a lot of shooters put their weak hand flat against their chest or off to the weak side to avoid crossing the muzzle. Trying to be quick draw McGraw with out serious amounts of practice gets you well wrist, hand, thigh, knee, foot shot oh and yeah if you have your finger in the trigger and try to holster well your thigh or butt won't like it much:} .

Well. Just got home. Left out at about 8:00 this morning to meet up with Jake from the Youtube channel I AM JAKE and then everyone decided to run the back way up to Crown King. We started with a shit pot load of Jeeps with a couple odds and ends thrown in at 12:30. Most of the group decided to turn around before we were half way. We got to crown king at about 7:00. Well, at the end there were 7 of us, we almost lost a Ford Excursion over the side, interestingly enough there was an old Blazer down at the bottom, and a rolled Razor 4 seater was sitting at the same spot. I wound up leading the way with 5 jeeps the excursion and an old diesel land Rover behind me because the 2 jeeps ahead of me had taken off and gotten so far ahead we didn't know where they were. We had to stop to recover the Excursion and those 2 asshats never even bothered to come back. We caught one of em up top and he said "we waited on top of a hill for you guys for a long time" Ya dumbass and you didn't put 2 and 2 together and figure out that there was a major problem when we never showed up, so you guys just took off? What a pair of DBags. But, chalk one up for the Taco for leading the way.:muscleflexing:
And I finally collected some trail damage on the left side right behind the rear wheel. Don't know how I got it, but I think I know where.
Fun day though. The Land Rover went up the hill to Prescott and home after, but the rest of us went to Black Canyon City and had a drink and ate burgers and rehashed the journey like some hardened warriors after.
It was an adventure to remember.

Ended up with about half a foot of snow.
Could have used it a week ago for hunting, but that's how it goes.

Morning my fellow TW brothers and sisters.
Woke up to about 6” of white stuff here.
No wind. Not a dry storm so will be a longer clean up.
First storm of the season and the sirens were going all afternoon by the shop.
The good news is no hurry up to clear before work. Will wonders never cease.

Chris, I hope you have a great day with the Mr’s.

    Let’s see let’s see. I’m misssing something..
    Oh yea..

I am obligated to be a good Dad. I miss having a best friend and someone to help me go through the rough times with especially after the last 12 hours. I don't want to take antidepressants either, don't want to change how I really feel. But if that damn thing in the rear view mirror comes any closer and tries to overtake me willing to do it.

Your blessed to have someone that cares about you and if she says you should do something you should listen to her IMO. About page 50 I dropped off from here, youngest had cancer and I blamed myself for it and his decision to self medicate. But a very smart person contacted me to check in with me and told me it wasn't my fault. And helped me through a tough time. IMO you should listen to those that are smarter than you, like Christie. Just saying :D

Went to bed at 10 last night woke up at 11 to some sounds in my sons room. Ran in and he was puking against my wall and crapping on himself. Cancer came back about 6 months ago and he doesn't want to go through chemo again so hasn't been back to the doctor. About 2 months ago his girlfriend said she wasn't running a hospice and threw him out that is why he is back with me.

Spent a couple of hours cleaning him up and the room. And remembered that I changed his diapers more than his mother did when I was in port LOL. Ended up throwing away the memory foam on the inflatable air bed and setting up the new tuft and needle bed I bought for him. With new sheets, bedspread and waterproof pad. Which is really nice compared to an air bed.

Got him in bed cleaned up and he started to cry. I laid down and we talked for a couple of hours. He told me he is willing to go to the doctor now, but he is afraid of chemo and also of dying. Hate doing this by myself and why I am banging this out now here. You are not by yourself. Listen to your wife and I am sure you do. She is the important one in your life and you know that. And she more than likely knows what is best for you. Me I wing it LOL.

Did fall asleep for about another hour on his bed holding him. Time to go back to my bed and sleep but my mind will not shutdown. I normally get up by now not go to bed. At least it is Sunday and not Monday. Positive Mental Attitude...

My mother used to ride the school bus in the winter outside of Wellsboro, Pa. which was a horse drawn sleigh. One of my cousins has a black and white picture of it and I really need to get a scanned copy of it from him. I do have a picture of the one room school house she went to

Well stop laying low, some good medicine around here. Or so I have heard. Hope all is well on the home front and continues to get better. Right now I am wondering if I should mix a drink to try to sleep or make some coffee and make a day of it. That would be a rather long nap latter in the day I am thinking though.
