The only problem I had were people driving too slow in front of me. Never used 4 high. Truck rides like a luxury car-my two sisters liked that the best. It’s got great balance a little light in the rear due to the 6’ bed, a very comfortable smooth ride. We had 6 inches of snow absolutely no problems in the slush or getting up the driveway unplowed. Trick is steady no wheel spin up she went. Beautiful. One sister said if I didn’t know I was in a pickup truck - “I’d swear I was in my sienna”. It’s a heavy ride which I like and smooth. Had a Toyota 20 yrs ago, came a long way with the ride factor. Great truck. Can’t say enough about it.

Toss a couple sand bags into the bed, and it makes it even better. If you are on stock tires, there are lots of better snow tires out there too. Glad you are enjoying the truck though. We had a couple inches in the grass here yesterday. Roads were just wet.

    Welcome to TW. :worthless:
People may be driving slow because 4wd doesnt help you stop. How long have you had the truck? You should be running the 4wd system 10 mi a month to maintain/lubricate it properly.

Superbad did not know u had to operate the 4 wheel system a little monthly. Makes total sense. Good to know. Engaged it once for shits and grins. And the low for a hundred yards or so. Impressed with the 4 low.

Wasn’t enough snow for the 4 hi or 4 lo. I drive an oil, diesel, gas rig as a job. Used to bad weather here in the north. Taco took it well, very impressed with ride quality. Anybody that rides in it say. Wow, rides like a luxury car. I agree. Had a Mitsubishi felt the road, on the small side for my body at 6’4.

TacoCat. Yes bed weight always an option. I was really impressed changing lanes with slush and snow. Rear end never danced around. I’m not hard on my stuff either, never slamming the brakes or punching the gas at a dead start. Too damn expensive to fix anything nowadays - I’m one of those guys still looking for that money tree in the back yard. ( for add - ons and do dads. Pay it down a little I will add things to it. Just not now.
