A healthy 6" of the wet concrete batter stuff is waiting to be cleared off the driveway...

 

We've had General Artic and Firestone Winterforce on all my wife's cars. Both have done really well. The Firestones are a lot noisier but the grip is really good. They are usually in the lower price end from what I've found. All the cars have been light, fwd cars so I'd imagine comparable to your Elantra.

 

Morning everyone, you know what they say everyone will have that bad day... well this past Friday was mine.. hit a deer going about 50mph...

I think we got 3-4 inches. As I was driving home last night it seemed the further North I went the less snow there was.

My back yard looks pretty nice after the first snowfall if you ignore the brush pile that I need to burn in the spring.

@johnnym, I currently run General Artic Max on both my truck and the wife's Forester XT. Both are studded. On my truck, I run 265/75s (oversized a bit) and they aren't too good in deeper snow. They tend to float and not bite very well. However, on ice or hard pack, they are great. Completely different on my wife's car. I went with a 'minus size' and they are great in all conditions. I actually had them first on her car and was hoping for the same performance on my truck. So the takeaway is tread width is key.

 

Well I am making that list of parts.....and well I am at 20 items so far. Roughly half way done but there is some trash in here so I have to clear that out. This is gonna take a while
