I went with the EL095R and then I will add a leaf later on when I put weight on the back end. I still needed to put 300lbs of sand right at the tailgate to level the truck out

team work as well. Just keep the list running so I can easily add it to the front page....

I only had to add the extra leaf when I went with the cap and rtt. Even then I still had rake I think with all my camping shit. The dakars are a great flex pack that holds weight.

This that and the other thing.
Any one want to buy a CH4x4 switch?
The reason I am posting it here is because I could send it on the road with @bfeth which would make it down the the GTA area. It's brand new with amber illumination. It fits to the left of the steering wheel. Hoping to get 15$ for it.

So I am pretty sure the stealership has brain damage. I made the mistake of getting the undercoating package from them. Holy fuck sack. Just had them redo the entire underside of the truck for a 2nd time this year. They pretended the 1st time and it was ridiculous.

This is the end of a 10 minute looping conversation....that just kept going until I was red in the face.

Stealertard 'We dont spray the spring packs because they squeak after and you will be back with that problem'

Me 'They are a giant piece of metal under my truck and you are NOT going to spray them with rust protection? How does that make sense? The stock ones I removed and are in my shed are coated and you guys did it? So how is it you dont do them?'

Stealertard 'Well its an inspection and touch up proccess....' Gets interrupted by some rude guy

Me 'But you did not touch up the 2 giant hand size spots missing any undercoating on my frame, so what did you touch up? My exhaust? I sure can smell it burning even though I had my exhaust rerouted AWAY from where you needed to spay. I am pretty upset by this entire shit show of pretending to apply undercoating to my truck'

Stealertard 'I just want to make you happy so ....' Same rude jerk interrupts him again

Me 'So fully undercoat my truck, every single thing on the underside that can have undercoating applied should have it on it. That is the ONLY thing that is going to make me happy, so do that'

Stealertard 'Ok lets make that appointment'

    :annoyed:

1st vehicle I have purchased and learned my lesson. f those guys, f em hard, with no lube, but tell em its lubed and they just have to get used to it.

Sorry to hear about the shitty experience.
They want the most amount of money for the least amount of work. Mind it is a dealership by dealership go. Some are good some are really bad. No mater the car maker.

Holy shit man....!! Looks like I don't need to recommend you get it done elsewhere...!! hehe, Sorry..!

My Corrosion Free guy (NOT Canadian tire) sprays the leafs.... I've not had squeak in 12 yrs. In fact, he sprays everything that is metal.....!! Inside all doors and panels..!! He tries to not overspray too much, but it should be expected that that will occur..... Takes me about an hour each yr. to wipe up the overspray on the doors, etc so that clothing, etc does not contact it...

I hope they are using a liquid, non drying spray..!! That shit that dries like the old Ziebart (tar film) is horrible..!

See if they will give your $ back and go elsewhere..! Good Luck.

Well, honestly, I never spray the leafs either, it's a 2-3 year old part that gets changed often on the truck if you use it as a truck, so maybe the guys at the dealership were thinking that way.

4 other gentlemen I know with trucks, said I what I thought to be correct. If its metal, spray that shit or its going to rust.

Now that they did the job finally, I can get all my skids put back on tonight.

I get everything sprays at rust check just like John. Door sills, everything. It drips for a couple days but can be pressure washed later in the year.

are you planning on running a cap etc?

Not sure on exact part number but you can get the stock spring rate or a constant load one. I think its 300lbs? might be 600lbs though. Forget but regardless if you aren't going to have a lot of weight all the time the heavy duty pack might not be needed.
did you get the HD pack or regular?

I'm running the regular spring rate pack and its fine.

I went with the light pack EL095R. EL096R is the HD. I did not need the HD yet

I agree with that, I am in love with how the truck rides now.

Nope, I live in North Bay, it was North Bay Toyota.
