    I found a skid plate that goes on the rear diff of the first gen E-locker. I protects the locker and goes down under the diff. to. I cant find it again. I searched all over the internet and i cant seem to find it again. If anyone has one or a link to where to get one i would appeciate it. Thanks.

    I saw that and i looks good but i saw another one about a week ago and it covered the locker and it went under the diff to.

    Yea i have to get the fluid tomorrow and do the breather. I have all the parts sitting here i just havnt done it yet.

    Had to make a slight modification to the two lower bolt holes in the skid plate (oblonged them a bit because the plate is very tight to the third member.) Good to go.. at least I don't have to worry about a rock knocking the motor off... now I just have to be careful to not punch a hole through the diff.

    I got mine last week and installed it. I forgot about this thread i will get some pics up 2morrow. It fit perfict. The only small problem i had was were it bolt on are studs with nuts and the studs came out instead of the nut comeing off. It was no big deal but the bottom stud threads into the rear and a little oil came out.

    Happened to me as well, I think the nut is tacked to the stud, fine by me, I changed my diff fluid that same day so no leaks. :) (needed to be done anyway)
    At least we don't have to worry about knocking a hole in the motor... hehe
