Truck Camping Photo Thread

We got the travel case also it protects it pretty well when we transport it camping

 

been using that grill for years for tailgating at football games and group camping trips. Love it. Carrying bag is nice for transporting and storage. I still need to get the griddle for it, would make cooking larger amounts of food so much easier. But usually if I'm doing a small wheeling trip, I'll just bring a stove and a cast iron skillet.

That looks nice and all, but making a fire on a bed of leaves, with leaves all around....? Doesn't seem like a fantastic idea...?

 

The leaves were wet and wouldn't even hardly burn. I raked a free spot for a fire then said screw it because the leaves would barely burn. Nice observation though

What tent is that? Looks nice.

 

Believe it is an old Moss tent! It was a top of the line tent that my father purchased about 25 years ago. He handed it down to me, and it still works like a gem!

Felt like I was camping on the moon on a recent trip during a north east snow storm

 

Out at Superstition last weekend, it was the night before the "super moon", very cool. There was also a Luminary event about a mile to the east of us.

 

REI should use that in one of their mailers...wait it has a truck in it, nevermind.
