TRD Pro Grille for $140?

$129.99 price drop on the grille today. Go get one! I had too. Too good of a deal not too.

 

I ordered from the same seller on Nov 22nd...didn't see any stateside action until today. It's at an international shipping center in Chicago. So I expect to get it later this week perhaps (I am in Austin). I got the same email you did about switching to Hong Kong Post, and it looks like it went to shipping around the 29th in Hong Kong.

So it will be about three weeks. I ordered two, one for a buddy. I'm curious to see if that makes the broken tab situation worse, or better. Buddy gets the one with the most broken tabs, of course!

So maybe give it a couple more days?

 

I'm pretty happy with it. No longer feels like the electric shaver grille. Tacomaworld strikes again $$$

hmm, i contacted them again but got no automated response from eBay. out of curiosity, what does you EST DELIVERY say in your eBay purchase history?

 

Initially it stated 4 Dec. I can not see the purchase anymore to be sure. eBay took the listing down. Tells me something is wrong with the seller? I think the grille is not coming for me.

If you go to My eBay -> Purchase History, you should still be able to see the estimated delivery even though the listing was taken down.

But yeah, I have the same feeling. I think I am going to request a refund through eBay if I don't have a good answer from the seller tomorrow morning. The official tracking # that they registered with eBay still has no info at all, the tracking number that is stuck in Hong Kong was only sent to me via email.

 

Just received tracking info on my $90 Malaysia order. 24 hours from order to tracking info. Will see how long it takes to get here now. But I’m in no rush

I do not remember that one. Weird sense over there. When I was in Kabul on business in 2010, I had dinner in a Brit Resturant tucked behind those huge concrete barriers. Getting to it was like going thru a mouse maze. Great food, lots of Americans and Brits sharing laughs and trying to forget the danger, if only for a couple of hours.

Ask for the refund now. I will be on the 15th. Once you request thru eBay, you have to wait 4 days to start the refund process.

 

Here is my honest review. Ordered mine from motorfansclub ebay early Nov. Received Dec 05th. Just installed on my car and will add a disclaimer that my experience is by no means what everyone will expect but this is my $0.02 on the quality:

1) QC is defiantly limited. My item has plastic burrs all over the back side.

2) A lot of the aforementioned plastic burrs may have broken or rubbed off during shipping. They seemed to have settled underneath the front grill portion and left a lot of scratches on the surface. Perhaps I can paint this?

3) Installation was OK. However there are small gaps and not all the clips completely engage in the existing stock holes. The manufacturing precision is of some concern. I will deal with it for a few weeks and see how I like it...May order for another vendor in the future.

 

Did all of the clips engage? I really had to push on it once everything was back on the car to get the clips to fully "seat". A few of the clips just never fully engaged but mine seems to stay on non-the-less.
