So Jul-Aug 2017 was time for real suspension - not that cheap ass ebay spacer lift! So did a ton of research and found the combo for me - OME nitrochargers with 883 coils, and dakars leafs. While I was under there I put in near tie rods and lbjs.

Spanned two weekends and 3 locations

My post wedding gift for myself for dealing with stress of it all was to get a bumper! Wanted plate but plate weighs a lot, cost a lot, and cost a lot. So went with the trail gear low profile - light weight, looks good, and cheaper!

After having it a few weeks it was finally time to get it installed.

First off was to paint the metal and trim the plastic behind the bumper. Then let it rain

Then wait for the rain to stop (5 minutes) and let that NM blue sky come back out

    Then paint

One thing about the trail gear is that I did not like the big gap in the top between the tubes and front of the truck. So had a local member build and weld some filler plates in!
