Stain will come in the spring. And it turned out to be a muddy mess back there. So seed or probably sod will come in the spring too.

My fuckin' back will be jello by tomorrow :(

No Asshat, so we jusst deal with no heat and go on. I got the boiler to fire......heat back on. No one even seemed to notice.

Decided to freshen up that whole area after the fence today.

New pavers where the garbage cans sit to replace the old nasty ones that were there. New dyer vent cap too.

    20171210_164409.jpg

Cleaned up the area behind the pumps and laid down some river rock

    20171210_164417.jpg

Through on a new outlet box to replace the broken that was there.

    20171210_164353.jpg

A lot of work for an area that only I'll ever see. :der:

Watched a farm show on Tv a few days ago. They said there's a Christmas tree shortage. In 2006, when the economy tanked, tree farmers lost there ass. Not a lot of trees planted in 06, 07, and 08. The trees planted then would be selling this year. ie not enough trees.

    Sounds like BS.

    Sounds like $100 trees.

Our neighborhood is built on what used to an old farm until the late 80's. When we moved into our house 12 years ago the neighborhood was new with not a lot of lots sold yet. Lots of remnants left behind ....barns, old equipment grown over with brush, etc. In addition to cattle, they grew Christmas trees. By the time the area was developed the farm had long since been abandoned. So there were perfect rows of 25 foot trees that had been growing for years and never cut down.

All that stuff is long gone now though

Costco's had a semi trailer selling trees for the past three weekends. Not sure what the price is but they certainly aren't short on stock.

I watched the first season. It was free at the library. Honestly...the story was a little hard to follow and not very interesting. If you like rape and incestuous fucking....I guess it's good? :notsure:

I'm hauling home a few pallets, some scrap wood, and piling up all thw limbs and yard debris. Maybe next weekend, setting up "camp" on the back of my property, and replicating the Chicago fire.
