Though not today, but this week. I gave her a good washing, new emblems, new vent visors, hit the 50k mark, added patches to the headliner, and drove around in the snow yesterday.

Considering removing the sway bar. I watched @boogie3478 video. Has anyone noticed it handling different on pavement? Some people saw they can hardly tell it is gone while others mentioned a lot of sway at highway speeds when encountering high winds or bumps! Thoughts?

I'm leaving mine on. If I'm ever in an accident and it's found that I removed the sway bar, I'm screwed. Would also make me feel horrible if anyone is injured in such an accident. It's a safety thing. But that's my 2 cents.

New air filter installed, cleaned MAS, washed, detailed and re-attached dipped badges. Now if only those headlights would have came in...

This is how I feel about it too. I could see if it was a dedicated trail rig... But for a DD that sees weekend trips at most, why not just take it off before your trips?

I removed mine. I only notice it's gone when I push into a corner pretty hard. I also have upgraded suspension. The truck feels better both on and off road with it gone.

After a week you will barely notice the difference. That being said I drive my truck like a truck and don't take turns fast and all that. I also don't live in an area with deer or stuff like that that might make you need to do any high speed maneuvering. Of course they always just tell people to plow right through the deer anyway instead of trying to turn fast and avoid it.

Yesterday my roommate and I did some winter wheeling at the Iron Range OHV Park. It was a bit slippery with the fresh snow and underlying layer of ice, so we didn't attempt any crazy obstacles. We had the park all to ourselves when we arrived, and only ever saw a couple in a Subaru who were driving the main trails.

I disagree. I regularly do 75+ on the highway. Truck feels solid the whole time.

We had the first snow of the season yesterday, and I braved chilly weather to wash all of the salt off my truck (including the newly-rustproofed frame)!

    IMG_2531.jpg IMG_2532.jpg IMG_2533.jpg IMG_2534.jpg

No drive-thru car wash would ever let me keep the wreath on the front of the truck. Attaching the wreath isn't as easy as it looks, so that's one of the reasons I decided to use a DIY car wash...

Warm, soapy water from a high-pressure gun is an efficient and very effective way of getting excess snow out of your truck bed...

I installed a Sony Apple Car Play stereo in my '05 with a black Scosche double-din dash kit. Can anyone help out with the part number for the black heater, a/c control bezel. My Type A personality will not allow me to keep the silver one any longer.

I've got one somewhere, minus the clips. You can have it!

    Though mine is actually Metra...

    https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120958214B/Metra-95-8214T-Dash-Kit-Black.html

I am not too happy with my Metra kit and considering the Scosche kit myself...
