Solid write up. You should document more trips like this when you can.

going back a few pages saw talk about fire extinguishers. Kidde is the only thing we use on the small boats all extinguishers from 2012 and up were recalled. Call Kidde and theyll tell you if yours was recalled or not

Your writing's fine. It's not overly wordy but you get all the details in there.

Good work on the trip report, looked like some good trails there. Where were they at?

    For clarity:

The cut-off date for the recalled Kidde Fire Extinguishers is not 2012. They can be older or newer than 2012 dates of manufacture. The recalled units can go back as far as 1973. In fact, I submitted a recall claim on a Kidde extinguisher with a manufacture date of 1997. I should be receiving the replacement in a few weeks.

One of the Recall announcements from Kidde:

"The recall involves 134 models of Kidde fire extinguishers manufactured between January 1, 1973 and August 15, 2017, including some models that were previously recalled in March 2009 and in February 2015. The extinguishers were sold in red, white and silver, and are either ABC- or BC-rated. The model number is printed on the fire extinguisher label. For units produced in 2007 and beyond, the date of manufacture is a 10-digit date code printed on the side of the cylinder, near the bottom. Digits five through nine represent the day and year of manufacture in DDDYY format. Date codes for recalled models manufactured from January 2, 2012 through August 15, 2017 are 00212 through 22717. For units produced before 2007, a date code is not printed on the fire extinguisher."

Also, not ALL Kidde extinguisher types are recalled. Those recalled are certain plastic handled or pushbutton models. Both of these types have plastic nozzles and are designed for household, auto and personal watercraft use (per Kidde.)

But to be sure, you can check with Kidde either by phone or by recall specific website.

Here is a good TW link on the issue.

    That's teamwork right there.

But that's gonna be a bear of a time trying to separate those straps from each other if they were used in a full pull of a stuck vehicle.

He did. But not sure what PSI

@bski22 probably could've /should've aired down a little more, because I didn't see a lot of sidewall flex.

Yeah. It was definitely deeper last year.

But my main concern was the razor sharp ice shards in that puddle.

Yea I was just at 20 I think. 15# would have been better. Not sure if not having sway bar would have helped on the first climb. Think it was LB handicap

You were teetering a bit on your corners but even lloyd took a minute to climb up so it could've been a few different things

I’m thinking about dropping my sway bar for this weekend. See how it goes. I can assure you that it had nothing to do with my wheeling time :anonymous:
