But you can't find black? I really want to get a Scosche dash bezel for my truck. I have a 2010 RC 5-lug. The fit and finish on the Metra bezel absolutely sucks...

Ah, I misunderstood your request, but it seems like it worked out for the best because now I know where to get a Scosche bezel!

So the Scosche kit is typically better than the Metra kit?

Just sitting at work for the 15th straight day, dreaming of what I could be doing. I did just replace the brake pads on her.

I have the same one and the headunit will not stay centered in there. It's so annoying!

That truck looks depressed sitting on asphalt. It needs a natural background to cheer it up.

Do you have double-DIN or single-DIN? I had a single-DIN head unit from April 2013 to September 2016 and had problems with that kit too, though not as bad...

It's a double din. I try to not pay attention to it. The second you drive off-road the damn headunit bounces around.

Do you have a backup camera in your truck? That's the only reason I initially got a double-DIN.

Yeah, my truck came with the camera and the wiring just no display. Haven't gotten around to actually wiring it to the headunit though. Just got better at backing up to the trailer haha

Well I had a very eventful day, I got stuck in the what I thought was dirt, but it turned out to be mud soup right next to my driveway. Had to have my buddies Jeep come pull me out. After the car wash I came home and pulled the side steps off

2009 was the first year for backup cameras in the Tacoma. SR5 and higher models had them standard, but base models just came with the prewire. I didn't realize that until the day we installed the backup camera. My neighbor helped me install it and we thought we would have to wire it to the reverse light.

Did you put intermittent wipers in your truck too?

Installed a pop and lock. Works with my OEM key. Should have done this long ago. Actually, Toyota should have put one on there to begin with.

It should be that way, but there was no way I was getting out of the mud by myself.
