My wife and I had a blast yesterday. It was great meeting all of you and was very awesome to see so many Toyota's all in one spot. Is it fair to say we had the most out of any group out there? Either way, I really enjoyed looking at all your vehicles. I got a few ideas on my ditch lights thanks to all of you who have them currently as well as many other things for the Wife's T4R.

Chad - it was great to finally meet you in person.

Chris - Thanks for the filter, hope you put the lights to good use, my wife was happy to see me clearing stuff out of the garage.

I hope everybody enjoys the YETI stickers. I'll make sure to share more at the next meet as my wife always brings home a bunch. Here are a few pictures I snapped with my phone:

Hell yeah man! That looks great! Did you plasti dip them or take them off and paint? Did you do the entire grill as well?

It was a lot of fun meeting new people on Sunday at C&C and the turn out was amazing. I remember a few new names but mostly it was a blur of bacon and new faces and the TTC(Texas Toyota Chihuahua). Hopefully I can make next month!

I got busted there once also a few years back. I saw 4 cops on 35 on my way in this morning so glad I have a radar detector.

I detached the grill and plastidipped the whole thing. Everything else I taped off and dipped while still on the truck. Was all-in-all about $20 and an hour and a half of work.

I was laughing, I talked about it at the site that you had done that. Sure it’s fun to drive. As we got closer I saw you @Phoosa and @07taco started to speed away and take lead, which was fine I stayed with @Sleipnir yo make he made it.

Nothing like a fat ass little sailboat passing up a whole convoy @ 90 hahah

Once we got close to the Oasis I let @Phoosa take lead on purpose  but I'll never tell him that. Looked like he was struggling on those inclines :p

Between excessive amounts of sound deadener, tire howl, blasting radio and roof rack I don't hear much when cruising.
You may as well been driving a Magic Carpet......quiet.

Somebody has to be around to recover the Chevy.

Tactical Turtle is more like it. :turtleride:

All I heard was the sweet sound of weeeeeeeeeee.
Tactical turtle. Haha I like that.

I get vibrations in my front passenger door from my speakers so I've been looking at deadeners. If I can get it nearly as quiet as the e300 I can die a happy man but we don't live in a perfect world.

So here's the word about our future C&C location from the new management.
    - No sponsorship. They are "full up" on sponsorship partners (they apparently got more) and are not taking any more on. We cannot get our own sponsorship for Taco Town, especially if they sell cars. That Lexus thing from two months ago apparently did not go well.
    - We can't sell food, but since we never have we can continue to cook and make coffee for our personal consumption.
    - No reserved seating (still working on that), but we are free to get there early and stake our claim.

    We can:
    - Have a sign stating who we are, and we ARE allowed to have sponsors on THAT. So, our signage can state we are South Texas Tacomas (Facebook), TacomaWorld.com, the Texas Toyota Coalition (Instagram), Texas Overland, and whatever varied and assorted group memberships that have happened to fall within our orbit. Maybe even the Hidden Falls peeps would want to sign their names? Toyota dealerships can be sponsors listed on that sign as well.
    - Show up whenever we want, stake our claim, and run off any encroachers.
    - Basically keep doing what we've always done.

From my conversations with Jackee (the new showrunner) there really isn't any difference from our perspective on how things were until yesterday, than how things will be starting at the January C&C. Anything else we do is totally on us, as long as we're not trying to sell anything.

I am sending her the map we worked out yesterday to let her know that we will be making that the "Taco Town Tailgate" and we plan to defend our territory with the Texas Toyota Chihuahua!
