Anyone any good at vinyl wrapping? I need my hood scoop done. Tried it myself last night and couldn't get it finished without any small wrinkles.

Did you try to use a heat gun to get the wrinkles out?

Yep, I mean it looks OK, but there are a few small ones that I just could not get out even with a heat gun. My OCD can't take it.

I know when laying a vinyl stickers people use a light mist of water(some soapy water) that way you can smooth it out, add some heat to get wrinkles out, and the water will evaporate. Not sure if the same will apply to a wrap.

All good. The glare off the sport hood is unreal in the mornings. The Pro's have the matte black hood scoop and a big hood decal, which is supposed to help, so I ordered the big decal and just need to get the scoop done.

I'm slowly, but unintentionally, making my truck into a Pro clone..

I tried and failed at wrapping my bumper end caps. So I took them to Ace Anesthetics in North Charlotte. They did an awesome job at a reasonable price.
